Our challenge this week is a Special one in honor of "Daisy" Our theme this week is "Welcome Back Daisy using Fall Colors"... what does that mean?

Well... That means that we want to see your Gorgeous creations that show off "Daisy" if you have her, and if you don't have her, then why not use any of Daisy's "Sitting" Friends...

This is a tribute to "Daisy" and we'd love to have her "nature loving Sitting Friends" come and help celebrate her return, what do you think?

If you have a stamp that has been designed by Elisabeth Bell, and it has a little sweetie that is sitting somewhere either on a stool, or out in nature or something similar, although it is optional, these sitting sweeties are what we encourage you to use.
Several companies have this type of image, Come on, do you want to join us??? Some stamps that come to mind, are.... Today is the day, we are kicking off a brand new Challenge Blog. If you are here right now, you are part of making Elphine House History… Hurray!!!
We are all so excited about this. Our challenges will be held Bi-Weekly, Starting right NOW!!! Lynda here, with a little bit of news. I thought it was time to share with you all, the exciting news that Elphine House Australia's blog will begin having challenges starting in Mid July.

The rest of the DT and I are so excited, and can't wait to get things started.
We already have some fun challenges lined up, and we hope that they will be a little different and unique in their own way.

We are planning on having bi-weekly challenges,
and Guess what????
ANY Stamp or Digi that is designed by our beloved Elisabeth Bell

will be welcome.

Yes, had a lovely chit-chat with Elisabeth Bell, and Yes, we are so looking forward to presenting to you EB's collections at Elphine House.

The Good News is the following, we have the first batch of stamps ready hot-off-the-press from California!!! Yayyy!!! And yes, they're absolutely gorgeous!!

Second, we are now calling for EHA Design Team .... so bring forth your lovely talents to share with the world.
(Below are the criterias outlined and agreed by the Artist herself).

Third, well, Mr Nice Man would like to keep this one up his sleeves, at least for now. (Just a hint, he's coming up with a competition just so he can give away a couple of free products. Agh, just a couple, but I may add to that!).

And ofcourse, it has been a lovely week in Brisbane.

And so without further adieu,

Yes, it's THAT time... THE TALENT TEAM SELECTION!!

Elphine House Australia is now looking for a creative Design Team to help promote Elisabeth Bell's enchanting collections found at Elphine House.

We have come to realize that there are so many of you with creations so outstanding that it would be very very difficult for us to make the selection.
As you may have already known, Elisabeth Bell is quite particular about the presentations of her arts, and so for this reason, Elphine House will be working closely with the Artist herself in choosing the EHA VIP finalists.

So, here goes.

If you love to colour images,
love to create beautiful cards and designs with your work...
can create beautiful scrapbook based on Elisabeth Bell's images...
if you're even talented in stitchery, quilting etc ...
If you are experienced and passionate about crafting
with an eye for design...
Well, then, you could be one of the 10 luckiest designers to join the
Elphine House Australia VIP Design Team!

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY

As a Designer for the exclusive EHA Elisabeth Bell Collections, you will be required to have, and to do, the following:

* Have your personal blog

* Have an internet access and an email account

* Create a card, paper-craft project, or scrapbook page with every stamp sent to you via air mail, and post it on your blog at least once a week or every 2 weeks, and includes the Elisabeth Bell (c) Copyright and Elphine House Australia name by your design.

* Submit via email photos of your creations to Elphine House Australia (elphinehouse@hotmail.com)
to post on the EHA VIP Design Team Gallery

* Post a creation, featuring one of EHA Elisabeth Bell Collection, on your blog at least once every 2 weeks, and linking back to Elphine House Australia VIP DT Gallery

* Be willing to upload designs onto Elisabeth Bell's Facebook Page (you will need to have a Facebook account for this), and include Elphine House Australia logo by your design, or link it back to Elphine House Australia VIP DT Gallery

* Be willing to place the Elphine House Australia logo, the DT info and links in the sidebar of your blog.

* You are welcome to mail us at least 1 card / design each month,
which will be used for promotional purposes ~ and ofcourse for others here to drool over!! (Address will be provided via email upon DT selection)

YOUR INCENTIVES AS A EHA VIP DESIGNER

* You receive one each EHA stamp for each new release for the course of your membership on the DT

* Your name and link to your blog will be published on the Elphine House Australia website.

* Percentage in savings to any additional purchases made available to you should you wish to on-sale at your card making / scrapbooking home workshops for the purpose of creating a personal hobby income, which here we call it "Party Plan" concept.

TO ENTER THIS CALL

You are free to submit any designs; designs using Elisabeth Bell's rubber or photopolymer stamps would be preferred but are optional.
You can create as many designs as you'd like.

You may create a card or hand made craft design of your choice using Elisabeth Bell's collection, and you may also include Stitchery, mini Quilt, etc if you're also good at that. Whatever else you may like to add, the workman/womanship must be your own.

You will have two weeks to complete your design.
The Call will close on Friday 6th of May 2011 at 8pm Brisbane time.
Any other entries placed after this time will not be counted.

The names of the NEW Elphine House Australia Design Team will be announced on Saturday 7th of May around 8pm Brisbane time once the winning names have been selected.

Please remember that as a Designer for the Elphine House Australia Team, you agree that your conduct will be honest,and that all your designs will be of your own workmanship.
You also agree to not distribute, duplicate or copy in any manner or form any Elisabeth Bell images under any circumstances, to any other person/s, party or entities, for any reason, other than for the purpose of designing your personal designs, as well as designs intended for the Elphine House Australia Collection and Gallery.
Elphine House Australia reserves the right to dismiss any designer of the Elphine House Australia DT for such breaches without further notice.

Having said all that, it is our sincere hope and wish that you enjoy being one of the ten luckiest Elphine House Australia VIP Design Team, and have fun!

Well, we have been in the back-ground

putting the foundation work for a business that we hope

which brings smiles after an exhausted week.

"The Santa Claus at ZCMI was more than a trifle surprised

when a beautiful young lady about twenty years old

walked up and sat on his lap.

But Santa quickly recovered,

"Something for my mother," said the young lady.

Good Afternoon, Everyone!

It's almost school pick-up time in Brisbane, and the weather has turned a little cool and cloudy. Still a perfect Winter in Brisbane for all to enjoy. So, the time has come for Elphine House's first blog candy giveaway .... ah, we would love to spoil you all, if we could!! I am soooo IN LOVE with LITTLE GINNIE, she reminds me of my girls when they were little, how they used to love roller blading. In one of the beautiful suburbs of Brisbane where we used to live, our street sloped down toward the beach and our girls would roller blade down hill to visit one of the beautiful parks by the ocean. Here at Scarborough park, lined with tall pine trees was a perfect place for roller blading and for many other fun things to do. Little Ginnie with her sparkling dashing eyes and her all action movements certainly bring back some FUN-TASTIC MEMORIES. And thanks to the very talented DT's who have created those beautiful, no, VERY BEAUTIFUL cards out of this digi image!! I haven't met them but already I think they are such special, wonderful people!! We've just enjoyed a long weekend here in sunny Brisbane with the Queens's Birthday public-holiday yesterday so today trying to recap on new things.
